Dance Troupe of CAACF

The Dance Troupe of CAACF was established by a group of enthusiastic ladies in 1980. The main goal of the organization is to promote the Chinese culture through Chinese traditional dance. The troupe has been performing the traditional dances in many multi-cultural events.

The Chinese School of CAACF

The Chinese School of CAACF, based in Orlando, Florida, is one of the most established and premiere Chinese schools in the state. Offering a variety of language and cultural courses, the school offers classes to all age levels in a fun and friendly environment. Currently serving a few hundred grade-school kids, high-school and college students, and many adults, the school has promoted the Chinese language, culture, and ethnicity in Central Florida for over four decades.

C.H.A.R.G.E.

“C.H.A.R.G.E.” is the Orlando-based Dragon Boat Team organized by the Chinese American Association of Central Florida in June, 2010, and is comprised mostly of Asian-American crew members.
Our mission is to promote this ancient Chinese sport in the community for team building, friendship and a healthy lifestyle.

Chinese American Association of Central Florida (CAACF)

The mission of Chinese American Association of Central Florida (CAACF) is to promote the Chinese language education and preserve the Chinese culture in the central Florida region. CAACF is a non-profit organization founded in 1969 in Orlando, Florida.

The Chinese School and The Dance Troupe were established in 1980, and the CHARGE Dragon Boat team was launched in 2010

Orlando Asian Cultural Events

Lunar New Year

This festival is a celebration of the Lunar New Year, and features traditional performances, food, and activities, such as the lion dance, dragon dance, and Money God.

 Chinese School of CAACF - EOY Ceremony

Through carefully curated cultural performances, traditional poetry reading and sing and dance activities, the event concludes the school year with cultural appreciation and education.

Duan Wu / Dragon Boat Festival

 This event typically takes place in the spring or summer and features dragon boat races, cultural performances, and food.

Mid-Autum Festival / Teacher's Day

 The festival is a celebration of the harvest, and typically features mooncakes, lanterns, and performances.
